Level 2 Food Safety (Qualsafe Awards)

This comprehensive accredited 1 day course introduces the principles of food safety and is suitable for anyone working in an environment where food is prepared, cooked and handled.  Typical examples may include pubs, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets and retail environments, food and drink manufacturers, hospitals, care homes, nurseries and schools.

The course is essential to businesses in order to demonstrate their compliance with current legislation and provides delegates with an appreciation of the basics of good food hygiene. This course introduces the principles of food safety and provides delegates with the essential knowledge to ensure they protect your business and customers.

This training is important to everyone who works with food, has a special responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers and ensures that the food they serve or sell is perfectly safe to eat.

Duration: 1 day.

Assessment: All delegates undertake a formal multiple-choice examination at the end of the course.

Certification: All successful delegates will receive an Ofqual approved certificate, which is valid for three years. It is strongly recommended that a refresher course is completed every 3 years.
